[about catálisis]

The choice of the name Catalysis emerged from a process of personal reflection, through which I identified a defining characteristic of my personality: a constant relationship between emotion and control. This logic [contained intensity, systematized emotion] translates directly into the way I design. Rather than expressing through chaos, I seek to channel it: transforming emotional intensity into clear structures where sensitivity and rationality coexist.

From this idea of channeling emerges the concept of catalysis. In chemistry, catalysis is a process that enables or accelerates transformation without altering the essence of the elements involved. It does not deform; it activates and reorganizes. This definition closely relates to my design practice, where design functions as a tool for transformation: taking ideas, emotions, or complex information and translating them into precise visual systems without losing their original meaning.

Desarrollar una pieza de motion graphics capaz de traducir el universo narrativo de la película a un sistema visual animado, explorando recursos de composición, temporalidad, transición y dirección de arte.

El proyecto tuvo como objetivo comprender el movimiento no solo como efecto visual, sino como una herramienta narrativa capaz de construir ritmo, tensión y continuidad dentro de una secuencia audiovisual.

A partir de esta idea de canalización, surge el concepto de catálisis. En términos químicos, la catálisis es un proceso que permite o acelera una transformación sin alterar la esencia de aquello que interviene. No deforma, sino que activa y reorganiza. Esta definición se vincula con mi práctica como diseñadora, donde el diseño funciona como un medio de transformación: tomar ideas, emociones o información compleja y convertirlas en sistemas visuales precisos, sin perder su sentido original.
